The University of Notre Dame (www.nd.edu) is accepting applications for a University Health Services (UHS) (www.uhs.nd.edu) Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA). This valued member of the UHS clinical team will provide college health care to Notre Dame students in beautiful Saint Liam Hall, a fully accredited, state-of-the-art college health center located just steps away from Notre Dame's iconic Golden Dome.
Our practice sees 30,000 clinical encounters each year. In addition to primary care, our services include sports medicine, psychiatry, travel medicine, women's health, immunizations, allergy desensitization, etc. Our current clinical team includes 6 Physicians, 6 Nurses, and 3 Patient Care Assistants, all who work together to provide the best college health care possible to our students. We are supported by in-house diagnostic laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray and physical therapy.
UHS is a very collaborative practice and we are searching for an advanced practice health care professional who enjoys working in a team environment with both broad autonomy and the support of collegial coworkers. Minimum Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician’s Assistant (PA) licensed to practice in Indiana. Ability to communicate effectively with a young adult population along with excellent communication skills with a diverse population. Ability to work within the guidelines of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Healthcare organizations. Must have: Indiana state advanced practice license; CSR/DEA Primary Care, Family Practice, Emergency Department or College Health experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Women’s Health experience preferred.
