The purpose of the Medical/Surgical unit is to provide quality care for patients of all ages who are acutely or chronically ill with multiple medical and surgical diagnoses. We are looking for staff to join our team that is knowledgeable in all aspects of adult health, have excellent assessment, technical, organizational, and prioritization skills, and have a strong focus on customer service. These individuals should also understand the importance of measuring and improving the quality of care delivered, consider patient safety to be the top priority, and support patients in their efforts to identify what is in their best interests. This unit is located on the 4th floor and consists of 35 rooms with remote cardiac monitoring available to our patients. The unit is open 24/7 and made up of RNs, CNAs, and HUCs, with a staffing pattern of 1:5 nurse patient ratio. Our Medical/Surgical unit is a stimulating yet challenging unit, that is also a very rewarding nursing unit, we look forward to welcoming you to our team.

OUR SYMBOL Reflects the healing ministry of Jesus Christ - a combination of a medical cross and a religious cross. The flowing banner on the cross is a common symbol of the risen Christ, while the royal purple signifies Christ. The flowing banner also conveys a sense of motion as we move forward into a new era of service to our communities.
