The Quality Improvement Specialist is part of an innovative and growing department at HCDI, supporting the improvement of clinical and patient outcomes through Quality Improvement (QI) activities. This accomplished QI Specialist will have the primary responsibility of coordinating key Quality Improvement activities and projects defined by HCDI's Quality Improvement and Operations Department. The Quality Improvement Specialist will be a a key member of the Quality Improvement (QI) and Operations team and HCDI and provide overall support for the department as well as technical support for affiliated hospitals. Experienced with NCQA and CMS quality and regulatory practices are preferred.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Master's degree preferred
1-2 years direct experience with hospitals and/or health clinical workflow and operations
At least 2 years' direct experience in relevant project management and QI experience
Strong communication and presentation skills, training/meeting facilitation skills
Ability to organize and coordinate various activities involving in a research, collaborative and demonstrative project
