Nicklaus Children's Hospital (formerly Miami Children’s Hospital), a 289-bed freestanding children's hospital and Level III trauma center, in collaboration with Pediatric Specialists of America (PSA), the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Miami Children's Health System, have an exceptional Directorship opportunity for a new Fetal Care Program & Special Delivery Unit beginning in 2018.
This nurse leadership role will spearhead the development and implementation of this new program, including the construction and planning stages, acquisition of equipment and inventory, as well as market planning. As Director, you will have ownership of end-to-end highly efficient workflows across multiple related service areas. The Director will develop education programs, allocate and assign duties to subordinates, monitor the activities and daily operations. An ability to educate, influence and achieve organizational buy-in are key characteristics to success in this crucial role. Serving as a strategic champion of quality patient care, this leader will work collaboratively throughout the local medical community to promote and advocate on behalf of the high risk fetal services provided by Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or MBA highly preferred.
Unrestricted RN License
National Certification required within one year in this position.
Minimum of 3-5 years leadership experience in L&D or NICU.
