Billings, Montana provides the convenience of a big city with the friendly feel of a small town. It is the medical, financial and industrial hub of a three-state area that includes Wyoming and North Dakota. It’s surrounded by the great outdoors and home to some of the country’s finest outdoor experiences. Many natives choose to stay here, or come back years later to raise their families and enjoy the quality of life the city offers.
Mountain biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, camping and world-class fly fishing are just a few of the outdoor activities locals enjoy. In the winter, three ski resorts are less than three hours away. The Yellowstone River flows past the city’s southern edge, while the famous Rimrocks, high sandstone cliffs, border it to the north.
