The Communication and Training Consultant is responsible for designing, directing and delivering innovative communication training & coaching interventions to improve TSPMG clinician and staff performance under the direction of the Manager of Learning & Development. This individual will develop and sustain a variety of interventions designed to improve clinician communication skills and the member experience.
DESIGN, DEVELOP & DELIVER LEARNING CONTENT
Build new learning initiatives based on industry best practices
Use experiential education and coaching principles to facilitate sustained behavior change
Measure the effectiveness of learning strategies
Develop strong coaching relationships with clinicians
Leverage video coaching and role play to help clinicians identify and refine communication habits
Document coaching sessions in order to support performance and accountability
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS & DEVELOPMENT
Review patient experience survey data to identify high and low performers
Partner with Human Resources to develop support plans for low performers
Partner with Chiefs & Managers to improve individual and team performance
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant Bachelor’s degree
5-years experience in learning & development with demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple projects
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
High energy level with excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, professional presence and exceptional customer service skills
Desire to have fun at work, collaborating and learning with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, Leadership, or similar field
7+ years experience in Organizational Learning & Development with demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple work plans/projects.
Experience working within the Healthcare setting
Certifications/Experience: Herrmann Brain, Social Styles, Myers Briggs, Emergenetics, DiSK or similar profile tool
