Position Summary: Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Health Services, the Director of Skilled Nursing Outreach is responsible for skilled nursing outreach and sales oversight of Covenant Retirement Communities’ 13 skilled nursing centers, for the purpose of achieving census and payer mix goals. This position has responsibility and accountability for management of skilled nursing outreach and sales efforts, including review of all sales-related activities and results, assisting in the development of local healthcare strategies, fostering professional referral relationships, and training and education of skilled nursing sales/outreach personnel

Key Responsibilities Oversee the campus healthcare sales/outreach staff performance including hiring, coaching, monitoring and evaluating healthcare outreach staff on a regular basis. Manage performance through routine calls and periodic face-to-face meetings with campus leaders and healthcare sales/outreach staff.
Responsible for understanding and driving compliance with national healthcare sales protocols, marketing initiatives and budgets. Uses all tools available to assess and report on sales activity. Coordinates the implementation of the skilled nursing sales/outreach networking plan and tracks the results to ensure networking action items are accomplished in a timely manner and that networking goals are met.
Participate in training for campus staff. Assess needs for sales staff and initiate sales training consistent with both the campus census and payer mix goals, as well as the overall healthcare outreach/sales goals and objectives.
Travel Requirements This position is home based, and the candidate can live anywhere in the US. Travel will be necessary up to 70% of the time for the position, with regular visits to assigned campuses.
