The Assistant Director of Security will provide leadership in collaboration with the Security Director for operational, administrative, educational and developmental needs of the Security Department. In addition, this role will coordinate and supervision the operations of the Security Department in the absence of the Security Director.
Position requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement, Sociology, or related field preferred. Minimum of four (4) years experience in security operations, or law enforcement with two (2) years exposure to supervisory responsibility. Previous management in security, law enforcement, and management in complex investigations required. BLS required. Valid NJ Driver's license and insurable by Medical Center Business Auto Insurer. Physically capable to conduct restraints of patients, visitors, and other violent/unruly customers. Equivalent field experience accompanied by Supervisory responsibility necessary.
