Job Summary: The Transport Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for all aspects of patient care, before, during, and after transport of Critical Care patients from one department to another. The Transport Registered Nurse must adequately assess the patient and in conjunction with the sending department staff to determine the patient�s needs for transport. The Transport Registered Nurse must maintain a high performance level in quality, service, critical nursing skills and critical thinking. The Transport Registered Nurse must be familiar with and adhere to Regulatory Standards and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital Policies and Procedure. Essential Duties: Transportation of patients requiring Critical Care/ACLS support within the hospital and during on-campus transport via ambulance.
