| JOB TITLE: Emergency Department Technician I LOCATION: Lewistown Hospital DEPARTMENT: Emergency WORK SCHEDULE: Rotation WORK TYPE: Full Time JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the skillful performance of technical care to patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures, and performs clerical duties while functioning as a communication source in the Emergency Department. Functions under the supervision of the Emergency Department Charge Nurse. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A minimum of a graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or pre-hospital care experience. High School Graduate or GED. PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
