JOB SUMMARY:

Assists the Billing Team Leader in resolving customer concerns, providing appropriate education/instruction to our members and employer groups while maintaining customer satisfaction by providing the highest level of service related to premium billing.

Works under the direction of the Billing Team Leader.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills and performs accurate mathematical calculations and data entry functions.

Demonstrates ability to be consistent and effective with productivity and possess very good organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.

Demonstrates ability to work independently and cohesively in a team setting.

Demonstrates skills in operating a calculator.

Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook with an aptitude for mainframe applications and associated keyboarding skills.

Demonstrates versatility and effectiveness with varied job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum one-year accounting, healthcare or business experience required.

Minimum three to six months on the job training to become familiar with the applicable systems and departmental policies and procedures required.

Work is typically performed in an office environment.
