Polysomnographer 24hr/Flex nights EOW;EOH

POSITION PURPOSE: Performs and evaluates overnight polysomnograms. Operates equipment to record sleep/wake physiology. Applies recording devices to the patient. Cleans/sterilizes equipment. Recognizes sleep pathology and responds with appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety. Performs record review/scoring of polysomnograms. Provides orientation and instruction, as well as serves as a resource, to staff in the Sleep Center

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School graduate or equivalent. Able to read, write and speak English.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One year of experience as a Polysomnographic Tech required.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Certification by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists as an RPSGT or equivalent is required. BLS required.
