| Abrazo Central Campus (located at 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Phoenix), a 221-bed acute care facility and teaching hospital, has been providing quality care to patients in the Phoenix community for more than 50 years. Abrazo Central Campus is recognized for comprehensive cardiovascular care, neuroscience services including NICO BrainPath technology, orthopedics, women�s health, radiology, and 24-hour emergency care, with more than 800 affiliated physicians on staff offering a wide range of medical specialties. Lab Business Systems Analyst, Full Time, Day Shift, Abrazo Central Campus The person in this position requires minimal or no supervision in planning, designing, implementing, managing and troubleshooting systems throughout Abrazo Health Care or in a designated area. SPECIAL SKILLS: The ability to perform business analysis and translate the outcome into definable software functionality is a required skill. Must be able to function as a project lead in a complex situation. Must possess solid analytical skills that can translate the analysis into effective troubleshooting and problem resolution. Works independently and performs as a leader of a team. Must possess clear oral and written communication skills. For the Lab Analyst: 3+ years of supporting McKesson lab systems (HLAB, HBB and Power Path). Other vendor lab systems will suffice as well such Misys, Sunquest or McKesson. Experience with Crystal Reports, Discern Analytics, and Lab instrument interfacing including point of care devices. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five years in information systems, with at least three years of clinical, financial, interface, or report writing hospital applications software support or equivalent experience. For the Lab Analyst: Lab operational knowledge via working in the lab or in IT supporting lab applications. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Any additional experience in hospital IT applications or caregiver experience or knowledge of healthcare work processes. Knowledge of any or all of the following software packages would be helpful: Cerner Millennium Laborar clinical / financial software, PBar, Siemens MedSeries 4, Meditech (Magic or Classic), McKesson Horizon Lab.
