The Human Resources Coordinator handles and processes all personnel/ payroll changes and records. Receives and screens calls and walk-ins and refers them to appropriate personnel. Generates all new hire paperwork, Pre-employment background screening, pre-employment physicals, and maintains employee personnel files. Manages LOA's in accordance with the Federal and State laws, and Tenet policies and procedures. Answers general Human Resource related questions regarding policy, procedures, benefits and record information. Reports to the Chief HR Officer.
Computer knowledge in HRMS, Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Excellent verbal skills and knowledge of good customer relations for dealing with a high number of phone calls. Knowledge of alpha filing systems required. Telephone etiquette and legible handwriting. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Knowledge of regulations governing human resource management is preferred.
Must have 3-5 years in Human Resources with in a healthcare environment.
Certificate in Human Resources preferred.
