Nemours is seeking an IT Product Owner - Microsoft Office 365 (Full-Time) to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
At Nemours, each Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. The team based at our home office in Jacksonville, Fla. provides essential administrative, financial and technical support to Nemours operations across all locations.
This position is responsible for leading the execution, integration, and delivery of software releases with well-defined Agile/Scrum software development life cycle process. A specific concentration for this position will be the implementation, support and delivery of software releases for the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications. This position understands and coordinates the backlog for all releases of the products. You will lead the translation of software features into technical requirements and follow Agile/Scrum practices to define and deliver software releases in coordination with all impacted Information Systems teams.
Successful candidate will be a member of the Nemours Information Systems managing a team of employees and consultants for the new implementation of the O365 Suite of applications. This is intended to encompass a number of phases and will include Azure configuration, Exchange migration, implementation of Microsoft Teams, Onedrive and Sharepoint.
The system is based on Microsoft technology, including both on-premises and cloud hosted versions of Microsoft Exchange , Microsoft Windows Server, and O365 in an environment currently hosting over 20,000 mailboxes. The position’s primary responsibilities include Team management for O365 Hybrid environment, including support for MFA, Onedrive, Sharepoint, on and off premises AD and Exchange.
Outline and manage a well-defined agile project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Review product release notes for each release and manage product backlog for sprint and release planning for continuous value delivery.
Coordinate implementation of applications and interfaces to create seamless exchange of information among multiple systems. Organize and lead status and working meetings, including preparing and distributing progress reports to team members and leadership.
Translate periodic Scrum reports for broader audiences including reporting on progress, barriers, milestones and issues to leadership and other stakeholders as necessary.
Analyze and manage both potential and actual issues and risks, taking corrective action by tackling day-to-day issues head on and determining the impact more serious issues and risks might have on scope, schedule, quality and/or cost.
Develop and facilitate an issues reporting and resolution process. Escalate irresolvable issues promptly to ensure quick response and corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Coordinate and integrate team and individual efforts to build positive professional relationships with all internal and external personnel.
Effectively manage customer expectations for project deliverables, assist with stakeholder communications and actively support governance processes.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Minimum of five (5) + years of IT experience required.
A balanced technical/ business IT background to provide highly credible leadership to development teams. Senior level of experience in the infrastructure aspects of IT and/or with IT applications.
Two (2) years of hands-on experience in administering large O365, Exchange 2013/2016, MS Server 2012 , 2016, Azure hybrid environments.
Four (4) years of experience in administering Active Directory environment using Windows 2008 or higher Servers.
Experience in PowerShell, Exchange online, Exchange online Archive, Teams, SharePoint and One drive in O365.
Experience in Agile Methodologies / ITIL Agile Certification preferred in one or more disciplines – Scrum Master, Product Ownership, etc.
MCSE 2008 or O365 certifications preferred
Excellent communication skills
