Rehab Supervisor Full Time Day Shift Central Campus Department Supervisor. Establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards and objectives. Supervises staff as well as workflow to meet or exceed standards. Responsible for the ongoing effective operation of the Rehabilitation department. The Rehab Supervisor actively participates in patient, employee and physician satisfaction improvement initiatives. Institutes practice changes based upon findings from the monitoring and evaluation process. Acts as a resource to Therapists, Nurses,and Physicians.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be able to work under deadlines. Must be able to utilize independent decision making skills in a wide variety of situations. Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities. Personal computer skills required. Frequent contact with employees, physicians, customers, community individuals and volunteers. Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines SUPERVISES: PT, OT, Speech, and Front Office staff
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements
Preferred Education: Master's Degree.
Minimum Experience: Clinical Rehabilitation experience
Preferred Experienced: 3 years of rehabilitation experience. Considerable knowledge of Medicare, Joint Commission standards, OSHA, state and local codes normally associated with hospital rehab departments. High level of initiative, autonomy, and organization is required. Must have demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple staff and aspects of departmental services functions.
