This position works within Specialty Medicine to provide direct care to the patient. This position will work collaboratively with designated providers, nursing staff to provide initial intake, clinical reminders and observe and report reason for the visit to the provider and/or RN in the clinic. Serves as a RN Clinical Analyst in the Group Practice Management (GPM) service, directly aligned under the Chief of Staff (COS), specializing in clinical operations, business analysis, and development across wide range complex activities within the Central Ohio Healthcare System to include its associated community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs). Duties include but are not limited to: Demonstration of clinical expertise and a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing clinic efficiency, provider and nursing productivity, future demand for services, and cost/benefit and make/buy analyses. The incumbent has a high degree of analytical ability, interpersonal effectiveness, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and specialized knowledge in the area of health care service administration, continuous quality improvement, data analysis and business management. Communicate and interact appropriately and courteously with internal and external customers. Maintain confidentiality of written, electronic, and verbal patient/employee information.
