Recruitment is open for full-time Licensed Practical Nurses for the Specialty Clinics Oklahoma City Veterans Health Administration. The individual selected for this position will be accountable to the Nurse Manager for Specialty Clinics. 1) Evidence of strong positive interpersonal/customer service skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary team member, patients, family members and significant others. 2) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and inwriting. 3) Demonstrated ability to function as a self-directed, productive team member and adapt readily to varying patient care needs and fluctuation in workload with minimal RN supervision. 4) Demonstrated ability to observe, identify, document, and report deviations from the norm, includes responding appropriately tourgent/emergent situations. 5) Basic computer skills required (experience with a computer and mouse); advanced skills preferred (Microsoft word, excel, etc). 6) Demonstrated integrity and dependability. 7) Ability to work flexible hours when required. Work Schedule: Routine hours M-F, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility as needed to meet patient care needs. Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
