We are looking for experienced RNs to work in one of our Telemetry units. The Registered Nurse (RN) exhibits and executes Baylor Scott & White Health’s (BSWH) Values & Behaviors in delivering and coordinating patient care. Utilizing the BSWH nursing professional practice model, the RN is a licensed professional who is responsible for using clinical reasoning, developing, implementing and evaluating the nursing plan of care, managing both emotional and physical patients, assessing patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education, working collaboratively with medical staff and providing quality care in a compassionate and professional manner. Our Telemetry RNs play a critical role in providing quality patient care. It's the Telemetry RN that often detects life-threatening complications and informs doctors of the need to act. We need RNs that are adept at using computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information to detect any changes, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations. Ideal Telemetry RN candidates will take pride in monitoring their patients and have the ability to remain focused during stressful procedures and medical situations that require quick thinking. § Location/Facility – Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving § Specialty/Department/Practice – Cardiac Telemetry § Shift/Schedule – 36 hours/week Full Time Nights 7pm – 7am
