Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, the Vice President, Ambulatory Operations & System Access, is responsible for administrative leadership, direction and oversight for access and contact center services in support of physician practice and ambulatory operations, including the overall operational management and strategic oversight related to effective operations of all services offered at Seattle Children’s clinic locations, Main Campus, Bellevue Clinic, South Clinic, North Clinic, Olympia Clinic an outlying rural clinics. In partnership with physician, executive, and operational leaders, the Vice President ensures the operational and financial effectiveness of Ambulatory regional and Seattle Medical and Surgical Specialties clinics, and Provider Practice Services functions in support of patients/families, provider practice, organizational goals and strategic priorities. These activities occur within the framework of continuous process improvement, system for daily improvement, compliance, and efficient resource and financial management. The Vice President oversees ambulatory services in collaboration with service line leaders, physician leaders, regional networks leaders and physician liaisons to ensure that all ambulatory clinic offerings are aligned with patient/family and primary care provider needs. This work is also to ensure the provision of an excellent and consistent experience for patients and families while meeting the quality, delivery, safety and programmatic growth requirements to support the mission of Seattle Children’s. The Vice President will lead the development, implementation, evaluation and evolution of strategic and operational initiatives within ambulatory clinic operations across the system to identify and implement innovative care delivery approaches that improve access to care, optimize provider deployment/capacity, and ensure utilization of facility capacity and staff/workflow efficiency in the clinics.
MHA, MBA or equivalent
Ten year’s increasingly responsible leadership experience in a complex healthcare setting
