Registered Nurse / RN Responsible for the assessment and the insertion of PICC lines for patients requiring an intravenous access device. Responsibility OF Registered Nurse / RN also includes coordinating the process of PICC line placements, communication with primary care nurses and providing education for care and maintenance of vascular access devices. The PICC line Registered Nurse / RN directs the PICC line process and team members, establishing a positive and professional rapport with other departments and staff, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational standards and goals.
Required: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program

BLS/CPR, ACLS(AMERICAN HEART ASSN.)
PALS(AMERICAN HEART ASSN) within 6 months,
PICC CERTIFICATION within 6 months
