Overlook Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a part time Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Eating Disorder Center to work 5 days/week 8a-12:30.
Clinical support for the adolescent medicine physicians: including blood draws, urine dips, vital signs, weights, injections, phone call triage, etc
Medical support for adolescent patients in the day treatment program and outpatient program
Oversight of refeeding and fluid protocols
Manage medical emergencies on the unit
Support leadership team in the preparation for Joint Commission
Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
Demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job
Valid New Jersey Nursing License
Pediatric experience- 2+ years preferred
