The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial reporting and analysis activity for key segments of Coniferâ��s business operation including monthly close reporting, quarterly forecast and annual budget activities as well as ad hoc analysis. Works directly with operational leadership to develop and maintain an environment of financial accountability, including a focus on revenue capture, expense control, and corporate compliance. Independently develops analysis of performance to operational budgets including benchmarking and opportunity analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Consolidate financial results and variance drivers for subordinate organizations.
Analyze the organizationâ��s operating results and its principal components relative to established objectives, working with departmental leadership/finance/operations to take action to correct any negative trends or variances.
Develop quarterly forecasts for distinct businesses and assist in preparation of detailed variance analyses where applicable
Initiate and coordinate the annual bottom up budgeting process for organizations supported
Assist with the preparation and presentation of proposed financial performance budgets for review and approval by leadership.
Develop solutions to ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests utilizing available tools and technologies
Perform complex analysis on financial and operational issues, may lead projects within the organization
Prepare and give presentations to Senior Management
Identify opportunities to streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Create monthly Executive Committee financial presentations to be presented by the CFO.
Perform other related duties as assigned

Thorough knowledge of federal, state and regulatory accounting and reporting regulations, GAAP, cost management techniques, financial analysis and budgets required

Strong ability to rapidly assimilate complex data and make decisions
Thorough knowledge of financial analysis methods
Thorough ability to recognize financial and accounting implications of business plans and decisions including the applicable federal and state laws and regulation related to the outsourcing and healthcare industries
Strong drive for results including demonstrated initiative necessary to anticipate, recognize and solve for challenges/problems
Sensitive to deadlines and strive to deliver quality information in a timely manner while handling multiple priorities
Must demonstrate customer focus (internal and external), attention to detail, command skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity
Proficient in use of Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
Able to manage through influence and collaboration

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
Minimum of 4 â�� 10 years financial analysis
Management or related experience in a health care system and/or multi-service provider setting a plus
Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or other related field required
Master's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or other related field preferred
Include minimum certification required to perform the job.
