In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
The Josie Robertson Surgery Center (JRSC) is a first-of-its-kind, freestanding outpatient and short-stay cancer surgery facility that delivers outstanding care to patients while applying the latest in surgical technology. The Center re-designs the way in which perioperative cancer care is provided, with an emphasis on innovation, continuous data-driven improvement, and an optimized patient experience. The opening of this new facility marked a new direction at MSK by focusing expertise on the delivery of high quality, cost-effective surgical treatment of cancer that will complement a long-established reputation for excellent surgical care of patients with advanced, complex cancers. Through the JRSC, we at MSK have developed a safe, efficient, patient-friendly, high-volume, high-quality, extended ambulatory surgical program committed to continual quality improvement and patient and provider satisfaction!

You Will:
- Implement the nursing process for surgical patients in both the Pre-Surgical and Post Anesthesia Recovery area
- Provide intensive monitoring and nursing interventions postoperatively
- Cross-cover Peri-Anesthesia at Main Campus as necessary
You Need:
- NYS RN license
- BLS, ACLS
- Minimum of 2+ years of related clinical experience preferably in a critical care area
- BSN strongly preferred
- Surgical oncology experience and related certification highly preferred

6a-6p variable 10 hour shifts/ 4 days a week with weekend rotationBenefits:
