We are currently in search of our newest Surgical Services leader who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care to our community at St. Joseph’s Hospital North.

• The Surgical Services Director is a member of the management team and participates in planning, policy development and priority setting.
• The director ensures that surgical services and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system.
• They ensure compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards. Maintains a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA/JCAHO) and established national standards of care.
• Collaborates with other directors, administrators, medical staff and other departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost effective manner.
• We are looking for a candidate that has a Bachelor Degree in Nursing or a related field, along with 5 years of leadership experience in a related field.

Certifications, Licensures and Education

• Required - RN (Registered Nurse)
• Required - Bachelor's Nursing or related field
• Preferred - CNOR (Surgical) and/or Nurse Specialist
• Preferred - Master's Nursing or related field
