St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking an Accountant 3 to join our St. Luke's Health Partners team.

Position Summary

St. Luke's Health Partners (Health Partners) is a wholly owned subsidiary of St. Luke's Health System, and a financially and clinically integrated network of providers improving the health outcomes of the population and lowering the cost of care. Health Partners is looking for an experienced accountant or similar financial personnel, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, use of estimates, auditing and internal controls, budgeting and forecasting, and financial modeling. Candidates should have the ability to understand and aggregate data from multiple financial arrangements, including governmental programs. Experience or familiarity in the healthcare or health insurance industry is preferable but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Support of the financial reporting and planning processes,
• Recommendations of efficiencies to current processes, improved tools and optimal system and process structures.
• Assistance to less experienced team members,
• Prepares annual and ad hoc financial modeling, and
• Support of population health and government programs
• Supports in the performance of internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and guidance.
• Assists in the development, implementation, compliance, and coordination of policies and programs consistent with company philosophy and objectives.
• Performs other duties requiring application of knowledge, judgement, and expertise.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 4 years experience in the field or related area.
