Trauma Coordinator - FT /Day Shift (Ben Taub Hospital)
Job Summary The Trauma Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all services required to meet the individual health needs of admitted trauma patients. The Trauma Coordinator applies expertise in trauma and facilitates: patient care, multidisciplinary communication and collaboration, initiation of new consultation, quality assessment/audit; and leads/participates in education, data collection/reporting and research. The Trauma Coordinator utilizes available resources to promote quality and cost effective outcomes.Minimum QualificationsEducation/specialized training/licensure: A.
