SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under limited supervision will have overall responsibility for the Hampden Medical Center and Holy Spirit Medical Center policy process including management of the software, education of providers and staff regarding the policy development process, responsibility for ensuring that the policies comply with Penn State Health standards as well as compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. All West Shore Region (Holy Spirit and Hampden Medical Center) organizational and departmental policies are within the scope of this individual's responsibility. In addition, he/she will coordinate policy activities with those policies which extend into the Penn State Health System.
Associate's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or other related field required.
Three (3) years of healthcare operational experience required.
Experience in policy development and implementation required.
Experience with a dedicated healthcare policy management application is preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
