Position Summary: The Triage Coordinator assists providers and/or staff in the management of telehealth, community and system resources, and access to high quality care. The work includes providing a high level of telephonic and administrative support, program coordination and data management functions for a multidisciplinary, collaborative practice environment in keeping with department policy and regulations. The Triage Coordinator provides excellent customer service to ensure patient and customer care needs are met. The incumbent has contact with patients, patient families/significant others, community agencies, providers, staff and management when advocating for patients. Work situations are highly varied with rapidly changing priorities, which require strong interpersonal and organizational skills, diplomacy, decision making, knowledge and integration of available standards, resources and data.
Minimum Requirements: One-year experience in physician's office or other medical facility Previous experience working in emergency/crisis situations preferred Experience in the production of highly technical documents preferred 50 WPM typing/data entry
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Licensed as an LPN in the state of Washington
