Position Summary:
The Enterprise Application Administrator Sr. is a senior-level technical team lead position requiring advanced technical skills and knowledge of clinical and business processes. The position has responsibilities in clinical and business systems, application administration and training support. The position encompasses system design, installation, modification, upgrade, enhancement and support, medium to large project leadership, training, documentation development, and contract review and familiarization. Work situations are a combination of intermediate to complex analytical, clinical, financial and administrative responsibilities, and require independent decision-making, problem solving, leadership, systems analysis, customer service skills, organization, public speaking skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Internal contacts require establishing rapport and working relationships with all levels of staff, management, operational staff and leadership, and MHS executives. External contacts include vendor personnel and outside professional and healthcare organizations.

Minimum Requirements:
7 - 10 years experience in developing, implementing, operating or maintaining laboratory information systems (LIS).
Previous installation experience with healthcare systems databases and interfaces in laboratory settings or with a healthcare system vendor required
Leadership experience, including interviewing and hiring, decision-making, staff mentoring, staff development and peer-review or evaluation, preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or Information Technology preferred.
An equivalent combination of additional qualifying work experience and technical certification or training may be substituted for education
Certification or demonstrated competency in one or more application specialty; Laboratory, systems
Clinical/Financial license/Technical certification (MLS, CLS) preferred
