The role you’ll contribute:
Mastectomy Garment Fitter is responsible for fitting customers with breast prostheses and post mastectomy services. This responsibility includes patient assessment, formulation, follow up and implementation of a treatment plan using external breast prostheses and other post-mastectomy products. Interacts with patients/customers and maintains a friendly, open and service-oriented attitude. Performs functions consistent with supporting the entire spa facilities' team. Promotes the Spa and marketing strategies as assigned. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibilityin maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Assesses specific prescription or patient's needs for breast prostheses as it relates to or includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation of the following:
• physical assessment
• circulation
• skin integrity
• posture and balance
• mastectomy prosthetic requirements
• Formulates and implements a treatment plan based upon an assessment to alleviate limitations and enhance function. The treatment includes, but is not limited to:
• verification of prescription/documentation
• a needs assessment based on patient and/or caregiver input
• analysis of design requirements and material selection
• consultation with and/or referral to other healthcare professionals• adjustments to accommodate individual anatomic contours
• patient education and instruction
• Responsible for managing the product inventory
• Order basic inventory and special custom orders
• Manage inventory within budget
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
High School Grad or Equiv
Preferred qualifications:
• Mastectomy fitting experience and compression garment fitting knowledge
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
