SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for maintaining the daily material flow of hospital supplies through incoming receipt, loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas. This individual will safely and appropriately use proper equipment to drive/deliver specified materials/products. This role is responsible for identifying, labeling materials, and recording their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain accurate inventory levels within our ERP system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: 

• Physically loads and unloads incoming and outgoing materials and products. 
• Responsible for identifying, labeling materials, and recording item locations in the warehouse on the shelves to maintain accurate inventory levels within PSH ERP system. 
• Rotates inventory, checks expiration dating, quarantines product if damaged or is part of a recall. 
• Identifies supplier miss-ships and picks within the main warehouse. 
• Communicates inventory issues with site Inventory Coordinator and site Logistics Coordinator. 
• Operates equipment to deliver materials and goods, including lifting up to 100 lbs. 
• Picks orders and replenishes supply to the main warehouse and storage locations. 
• Supports cycle counting and physical inventory reconciliations within the warehouse. 
• Maintains cleanliness of designated work area and supports daily 5s and Gemba activities. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Two (2) years of demonstrated high performance within a logistics, materials, warehouse setting that is focused on quality of materials and inventory accuracy required. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Associate?s degree preferred.
