Job Summary
Responsible for the leadership, general administration of the Geisinger Nursing Travel program. Establishes the strategic direction of the program and is responsible for the standards and outcomes of the program. Responsible for integrating the program with nursing practices and hospital clinical services in a manner that enhances value and quality outcomes.
Job Duties
- Assist in the recruitment of qualified employees.
- Supervise resource team to deliver quality patient care, including employee relations activities, including skill development.
- Participate, with designated leadership, in review and revision of policies and procedures, and structure and content of the program.
- Represent the program on committees as applicable.
- Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the program, may include developing evaluation process, including a subjective evaluation instrument to survey others on the effectiveness of the program.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements and policies and procedures implemented.
- Maintains program budget.

Position Details
This position will be a hybrid on site and work from home positions. Primary work location can be home office, but will be expected and required to live within the Geisinger footprint and travel to our 9 different hospital locations.
Preferred Qualifications include:
Previous Agency Experience preferred
Understanding of new program development and implementation
Education
Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Required)
Experience
Minimum of 5 years-Managerial/Supervisory (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s)
Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
